3Chicken Creative is growing again and we are looking for a passionate and committed social media account manager.

How we do it: Our account managers are offered client accounts at a monthly rate. Expectations are clearly defined for each account and you have the support of our Social Media Strategist, as well as the Company owner to deliver results.

Who You Should Be: You should know social.  You should understand each of the social platforms, (facebook, pinterest, Instagram, Twitter).  You should be able to schedule, edit, and work within each of these platforms confidently. You should have excellent spelling and grammar (no mistakes) and potentially have some light design skills (think Canva) You should want to work from home, and be eager to acquire more accounts from our company after the initial trial. You should understand how to measure the analytics of each account. You should probably know (or be able to learn) how to use:

• tailwind
• buffer
• coschedule
• basecamp
• canva
• tweetdeck/hootsuite

and a variety of other platforms. You should be fun, eager to learn and passionate about our clients. Please note, all positions are subcontractor positions and will require you to invoice 3chicken Creative for the work done in the month, including taxes if applicable. 

We are looking to bring on a passionate Editor of a new collaborative Parenting site, focussing on video content,  for June 1st. Your goal will be to ensure consistent publishing of high quality and fully optimized content to the site.

OBJECTIVES:

·      Increase traffic to the website by publishing original and syndicated content from our community, video and text content required.

·      Support the creation of a strong and stable contributor community, and provide editorial feedback and leadership

·      Support sponsored campaigns, as required.

Responsibilities:

·      Creating an editorial calendar for deployment, and implement to the contributor team

·      Providing all content editing, image uploads, optimization and promotion. Ensure SEO expectations are met on every published post.  Video editing not required, although content editing on video posts is included.

·      Managing incoming sponsored content, ensuring all sponsored content is promoted as per the required brand activations

·      Publish a min of 5 fully optimized original blog posts each week.

·      Renovate and improve archived content for re-sharing or re-publishing (min 2 posts a week)

·      Finish edit syndicated content from group to publish to site ( min 2 posts per week)

·      Understand how to work within the YouTube platform, pulling videos for embedding, and managing publishing directly within that system.

·      Working within the basecamp platform, ensure that all content is being shared and supported by our Social Management team

·      Work with our team to create an inspiring new digital brand that reaches and affects parents across North America.

·      Take a passionate approach to making suggestions to improve the performance of the website with the goals of escalating the community brand.

·      Support the author management as they upload content and work within the wordpress platform

·      Amend, and edit static pages on the  Website as needed.

Reporting:  A monthly report will be due on the 2nd day of each month.

·      Analytics report – traffic assessment

·      Recommendations and suggestions

·      Key moments and highlights

·      Compiled team reports

We are looking to add a Manager of Social Media to the 3chicken Creative team.  If chosen, your job duties will include:

• managing our team of social media contractors. Assisting with new hiring and assigning client accounts
• Supporting with creative social strategies to ensure we reach our monthly targets. (max 20 clients) Assess deliverables of accounts, find solutions and make recommendations to ensure.
• Direct management of no more than 6 client accounts
• Setting up new client accounts, based on defined strategies.
• Monthly reporting and recommendations.

This job is for you if:

• you love social- some platforms more than others, but have a general understanding of all of them.
• Understand how to explore strategies and opportunities for social growth and reach
• Can multi task multiple clients and a small team
• Work from home (or wherever you have wifi access)
• Don’t require set hours, or set days, but can respond when needed.
• Are an excellent communicator and understand the importance of responding to a message (even if it is with an emoticon)

Compensation:
$1200 CA per month. No set hours, only project deliverables.

Position starts May 1st.  First month, 600$ compensation, reduced workload, with free high value training in strategy and social media.
